1000 Young Entrepreneurs Development Programme (4I Programme) – National Capacity Development for the Young Entrepreneurs in MSME sector in Sri Lanka, 24th to 29th October 2023

A training programme on “Strengthening Business Digitization and Production Promoting among Micro, Small and Medium sized Enterprises (MSMEs) for Accelerating Progress towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Sri Lanka” organized by the Ministry of Industries with the collaboration of Division for Sustainable Development Goals, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, United Nations has been successfully completed from 24th to 27th October 2023 at Hotel Mandarina Colombo at Colombo 3. 

 

33 Young entrepreneurs who registered under the 1000 Young Entrepreneurs Development Programme (4 i Programme) conducted by the Ministry & 17 officers from Ministry, NEDA & Vidatha have participated in the programme.

 

Mrs. J M Thilaka Jayasundara, Secretary of the Ministry of Industries, Ms. Simrin Singh, Country Director of ILO Country Office for Sri Lanka, Mr. Clark Ke Liu, from the United Nations, Mr. J.W.S. Kithsiri, Additional District Secretary of Gampaha District Secretariat, Additional Secretaries, CFO, DG (Planning) & Mr. K M Rizvi, Director of Ministry of Industries and higher officials from NEDA, Vidatha & National Chamber of Commerce participated in the opening ceremony.

 

The National Chamber of Commerce conducted the activities related to the training program and Dr. Lochandana Ranatunga led the training activities with his team.
