AMENDING REGISTRATION
Service : Amendment of Registration Certificates
When it is necessary to update the information of an industrial institution included in the certificate is amended with the request of the applicant.
- The request letter containing the information to be amended with the required documents could be handed over to the Industry Registration Division or could be sent by registered post to the Assistant Director, Industry Registration Division, Ministry of Industries, No.73 / 1, Galle Road, Colombo 03.
- A field inspection will be conducted to study the current production situation if required.
- Amended Certificate can be obtained by handing over the old certificate to the Ministry between 9 am and 4 pm.

Required documents must be submitted to confirm the information that needs to be amended
Example: If an industry name needs to be changed, they should submit the new Business Name Registration or new incorporated certificate (by mentioning the new and old name) issued by the Department of Registrar of Companies or form 3 issued by the Department of Registrar of Companies.
If an industry address needs to be changed, they should submit the Form 13 or Form 14 issued by the Department of Registrar of Companies.
