Issuing recommendations to industrialists to earn foreign exchange by exporting scrap metals and various products if it is difficult to carry out manufacturing process in Sri Lanka

  • Must be a registered institution under the Ministry.
  • Must be a 100% direct or indirect exporter.
  • Request letter
  • Recommendation of the Ceylon Industrial Development Board
  • Receipt of request from industrialists who have met the basic requirements
  • Submitting to the recommendation of the Industrial Development Board.
  • Issuing letters of recommendation with the approval of the Secretary to the Controller of Imports and Exports with a copy to the applicant
