Commenced business operations as an entrepreneur in the year 1995 in the Sri Lanka Electrical Accessories Industry, manufacturing of lower cost with high-quality electrical accessories to Sri Lanka, Europe, and Middle East Markets by contributing on alarger scale to the gross domestic product in Sri Lanka. Appointed as a Member of the Industrialization Commission by the Honorable President for a period of 3 years. serve as a Director of the Sri Lanka Industrial Development Forum (IDF) Advisory Board of Directors with the ambition to further strengthen the ’Made in Sri Lanka‘ concept in the future. Elected as the Chairman of the Colombo Electrical Traders Association (CETA).
Awarded the Gold Award in the Industry Excellence-Medium & Large Category Electrical, Electronics and Allied Industries at the National Industry Excellence Awards 2022.
