Mr. Sirimal Fernando is working as the Chief Executive Officer / Director of the Astron Ltd which is one of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Sri Lanka and he has more than 25 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical sector.
Mr. Sirimal Fernando was the President of the Sri Lanka Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association from 2018 to 2020. He was the treasurer of the Sri Lanka Chamber of Pharmaceutical Industry from 2016 to 2021.
Mr. Sirimal Fernando graduated from University of Colombo with Bachelor of Science Degree and also obtained the Master of Business Administration from University of Colombo and Master of Science (Business psychology) from Coventry University – UK. He has postgraduated in Management and Research from University of Colombo.
He has the fellowship in Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and also he is a professional in Chartered Management Accountancy, Institute of Certified Management Accountant, Australia.
